Good to know

Please note that the space is very small - there is around 15 sqm per floor - and that you will have to sit sideways on the toilet to fit. Sorry about that but the building is from the 1720 (although completely refurbished in 2018) and (small) people have been living on the site since 720s !

Amazing place to stay! The view is probably one of the coolest in Lisbon and the patio is a great place to have a morning coffee. It’s a big small and the stairs are tiny and steep but it’s well worth the tiny inconveniences. Check-in was very smooth and loved the proactive-ness of the host. Just make sure you don’t freak out if you can’t open the door on the first try, watch the video and keep turning the key!

Lovely. Fantastic view, very pleased with all aspects of the accommodation. However, please take heed of this one pretty crazy pitfall: through absolutely no fault of the owner, the first address which comes up on Uber is in a completely different place. Our driver took us the scenic route — across the second longest bridge in Europe it transpires — and when he drove up to the door, I thought, "Oh crap, this is a scam." Upon further inspection, he had indeed taken us to the "right" address, just in an entirely different town, a good 33.8km from our destination. Why this came up, when we were already in Lisbon, eludes me. It must be said that, upon arrival, we were quickly appeased by the absolute beauty of the wonderful apartment, which looks over the city. The sweeping views by day and convivial atmosphere by night convinced us it's the perfect place. It's not noisy at all, but very central, making it ideal. It does exactly what it says on the sardine tin: a true oasis in Lisbon.
