Charming duplex with preserved wooden structure in historical Lisbon. Mouraria III is an adorable duplex with preserved wooden structure and wooden beams in a building dating back to the 1690-s!

The building is located right in the heart of Lisbon between the ancient Saint George Caste (in Portuguese Castelo São Jorge) and the central city square known as Martim Moniz.

The flat has been completely renovated in 2010 as a livable modern flat with a noticeable historical touch. The flat is low-emission with a number of features to reduce energy consumption and heat loss.

On the upper floor, there is an open space with kitchen, dining table and lounge section with two armchairs. One of the armchairs can be turned into a comfortable single extra bed. The kitchen has two hot plates, a fridge (Class A), as well as a combined washing machine and tumbledryer. The kitchein has toaster, kettle, espresso coffee maker and other standard kitchen utilities.

On the lower floor you’ll find the bathroom and the bedroom with a 160×200 cm double bed featuring memory foam for complete relaxation! The bathroom has tiled floors, big mirror and a spacious shower.

From the upper floor there is view of the neighborhood roofs of Mouraria and downtown Lisbon.

Full of history, Mouraria is waiting for you. Famous as the birthplace of Fado music, you will find an array of live music taverns, as well as shops, dotted around the narrow little streets of this picturesque part of town. Offering an excellent location for exploring and a price tag that wonít blow the budget, the Mouraria III apartment should be on your list for Lisbon ‘escapade’.

Upon arrival you receive the apartment keys from our housekeeper Madalena at the apartment. She lives some steps up the street. Before your arrival she cleans the apartment and covers your beds with sheets.

Making a reservation

There are two ways to make a reservation.

1. Fast, smart self-booking
Go to the calendar of the flat you want and click on the days you want to rent it. Please note that you need to mark all the days in the calendar that you will be in the flat (including day of departure).
Fill in the form and click ‘send’. You will now be asked to make a payment equivalent to 15 Euros a day for the period you have reserved. Click ‘Pay now’ and follow instructions. You have now booked the flat and are ready to go!
You will receive a confirmation e-mail. The remaining amount is to be paid on arrival.

2. By e-mail
Write us by using the contact form below indicating which days you want the flat. After that you will receive an e-mail from us. The e-mail will contain a reply, a confirmation and an invitation to pay a deposit.
To pay the deposit, mark all the days in the calendar that you will be in the flat (including day of departure). Fill in the form and click ‘send’. You will now be asked to make a payment equivalent to 15 Euros a day for the period you have reserved. Click ‘Pay now’ and follow instructions. Payment is safe and you do not need to worry!
After your payment you will get a confirmation by e-mail. You are now ready to go!
The remaining amount is to be paid on arrival.

Price per night for 2 people

An additional adult, from 12 years and above, pays 15 Euros a night. Children under 12 years cost 10 Euros a night.
